HSYSA will no longer be replacing worn out bats and batting helmets. Limited numbers will be available in the team's equipment bag, but are not guaranteed.

Players will need to supply their own bat, batting helmet, and glove.  Cleats are not a requirement but recommended.

Fielding masks are required to play any infield position.  Fielding masks are recommended for outfielders, but not required.  This does not apply to the PeeWee division.

Pirate fastpitch will be teaming up with Dick's Sporting Goods to host DSG Days at the Green Bay location 3/3/23 - 3/6/23.   You will be able to get 20% instore and online purchases made through the instore kiosk.

Volunteers

We always need lots of help with our league to run a successful season. In addition to coaches we also need volunteers for various roles. Some volunteer projects are one night for a few hours while others involve multiple nights. If you are able to volunteer any amount of time this year please indicate on your child’s registration form in the appropriate area.

Volunteer opportunities:

Head coach - Responsible for running practices, setting game lineups, making game day decisions and ensuring a fair, fun, inclusive, and friendly environment is maintained. If you are unable to make a game or practice it is your responsibility to find someone to fill in for you. 

Assistant coach - Responsible for helping run practices, assisting on the field or in the dugout on game days, and ensuring a fair, fun, inclusive, and friendly environment is maintained.

Field coordinator - Responsible for ensuring nothing is needed at the fields on game days.  This can include moving pitching mounds to the required distance, providing umps with game balls, and other miscellaneous tasks.
